The Spirit of Giving

Christmas is the spirit of giving without a thought of getting. It is happiness because we see joy in people. It is forgetting self and finding time for others.”

Thomas S. Monson

Dear Parents,

To help students experience the joy of giving and the importance of showing gratitude, each class is adopting a cafeteria employee at our campus to let them know how much we appreciate all that they do for us. Students will design cards, write messages of thanks, and present them with a gift card. We are asking each student to bring $1.00 by Monday, December 18th to help with purchasing the gift card. All Fourth Grade classes will present their gifts on December 19th.  We all look forward to sharing the “spirit of giving” with our students.

Sincerely,

Fourth Grade Teachers
