Reminder:

$5 for the field trip is due this Friday, September 8th.

Math Learning Goals:

• Students will continue to read, write, and expand whole numbers through the billions place.
• Students will learn that the place value is 10 times the position to the right and  1/10 of the place to the left.

For example:  16,649    The 6 in the thousands place is ten times the value of the 6 in the hundred’s place.

The 6 in the hundred’s place is 1/10 the value of the 6 in the thousand’s place.

Math Homework:

Please study your 4’s, 3’s , 5’s  2’s and square multiplication facts.  We have a Multiplication Quiz Friday, September 8th.
